"38" Festival To Give National Performance Costumes

On the eve of "38" International Women's day, Zhou Wenzhi, Consul General of China's Consul General in St Petersburg, went to 652nd schools in St Petersburg, Russia, to celebrate the "38" festival with teachers and students, and to present the national costume to the school art troupe.

"She said that the 652nd school is St Petersburg's prestigious full-time school that teaches Chinese as the first foreign language.

So far, a large number of students who are familiar with Chinese language and love Chinese history and culture have been trained, and female teachers in schools have played a positive role in promoting Chinese teaching, spreading Chinese culture and promoting folk exchanges between the two countries.

On behalf of the Chinese Consulate General in St Petersburg, she salute and thank all the women teachers. He also highly appreciated the wonderful performances of the school art troupe and presented some of them to China.

National Costume

She said that the students of the art troupe were often invited to participate in the Sino Russian friendship and exchange performances in the District, and the children conveys the desire of friendship between China and Russia from generation to generation with beautiful singing and graceful dancing.

She hoped that the children of the art troupe could wear these Chinese ethnic costumes to perform more and better artistic programs with Chinese characteristics, and fully demonstrate the level of Chinese teaching in schools.

652nd Tier Leah Tenny Kurkovva, the president of the school, thanked Zhou Wenzhi for his advice on behalf of the school.

She said that for a long time, the Chinese Consulate General in St Petersburg gave strong support to the work of the school, and did a lot of practical work for the development of the school. The consul general presented the costumes to the school art troupe, showing the concern of the Consulate General to the children and the support for the school's work.
