South Deutsche group, one of the service companies, held a comprehensive training for export shoe factories in Putian, Fujian, China shoe city.

At the training session, the senior experts of the American Footwear Association and South Deutsche group asked for an analysis of the specifications, safety and testing requirements of European and American buyers in products, helping Chinese shoe enterprises actively respond to the EU's "registration, assessment and licensing of chemicals".

Administration

Method (REACH regulations) to enhance the ability to resist risks.

Ice Chen, the representative of the footwear association of America, first introduced in training sessions that in recent years, with the implementation and updating of REACH, the footwear industry in China is a labor-intensive industry. The chemicals involved in the products are large in quantity, wide in scope and various in variety. In addition, the export enterprises of the European Union do not attach enough importance to foreign standards and regulations and lack sufficient research, which makes exporters quite passive in the face of technical measures.

"Chinese shoe enterprises should actively respond to trade barriers, timely monitor changes in the international market, pay attention to the dynamics of trade protectionism in various countries, and effectively avoid various technical barriers by improving production processes and changing the production structure in a timely manner."

Ice Chen said that Chinese shoe enterprises should actively build export brands, absorb advanced production equipment and technology, actively enhance product design and development capabilities, create "brand internationalization strategy", and enhance export competitiveness of products, so as to consolidate export markets.

Joey Fan, a senior expert from South Deutsche group, has conducted in-depth analysis and explanation on the impact of REACH regulations on product safety audits of Chinese export footwear enterprises, and has detailed guidance for shoe enterprises to prepare for REACH regulations.

The experts also exchanged with participants, and answered the questions raised by managers of shoe enterprises.

The head of China Footwear Company, who attended the seminar, said that the training meeting sponsored by the American Footwear Association will play a good role in promoting the initiative and passivity of Chinese shoe manufacturers in coping with the REACH regulations and effectively responding to the challenges and pressures brought by the REACH regulations.
